Cara Pasang GDesk (untuk GDesk tipe apapun)
Mungkin sudah banyak dari pengguna s60v5 yang tahu apa itu GDesk. Ya, GDesk adalah tidak lain dan tidak bukan (weleh.....) sebuah permainan tampilan yang hampir keseluruhan mengambil tema Homescreen dan tampilannya pun sangat menarik-menarik.

NokiaCooker V1.0 Cooked Fw for S60v3 / S60v5
Yang suka modding firmware ini ada sebuah tool buat editing firmware seperti NOKIA FIRWARE EDITOR yang bernama Nokia Cooker BETA. Tool ini lebih lengkap dibanding dengan NFE ataupun Nokia Editor Beta terdahulu karena dalam tool tersebut sudah menyediakan Tool-tool pendukung lainnya seperti Language tool, Qwerty keyboard tool, Navifirm, Plugin dan Nokia FW Cleaner2.1. Bagi para modder terkenal di forum dailymobile banyak yang menggunakan Tool ini karena penggunaan dan interface yang sangat mudah untuk digunakan. Dulu saya memakai NFE untuk memodifikasi Firmware, tapi karena sudah ada tool yang lebih mumpuni, maka mulai sekarang saya memakai ini :)
If you don't know how to install, or how to use it, probably you don't need Nokia Cooker at all.

NokiaCooker 1.0 Change-Log:
- New: Shows the maximum ROFS partition size and the ROFS extimated size.
- Improved: NaviFirm plugin updated to 0.9 version
- Improved: the "Allow ROFS Resize" option is not needed anymore and it has been removed.

*** Informations for Developers about Plugins ***
When NokiaCooker launches your application it will pass the 4 command-line parameters below:
1) the file currently selected in the window on the right side
2) the path where the fw files have been extracted (eg: c:\nokiacooker\files\n8fw_extracted\)
3) firmware filename (eg: RM-596_011.012_U01.01_79.92_prd.uda.fpsx)
4) firmware type (UDA, ROFS, CORE, UNKNOWN)
How to read the arguments depends on the programming language you're using:
- for Delphi you should use ParamStr() ParamCount()
- for C# you can find the source code of a skeleton Plugin inside \NokiaCooker\TestPlugins\
Description
Nokia Cooker is a PC software reserved to the Cookers, which allows to modify the files containing the phone's firmware to create customized firmwares versions named Cooked-Firmware.
Nokia Cooker can modify data which is located in:
- UDA
- ROFS
- ROFx
It can't modify data located in the CORE yet.
Not all the ROFS/ROFx can be modded!
Modding a protected ROFS/ROFx you'll risk to brick the phone.
If you aren't sure that your ROFS/ROFx can be modded, don't do it.
The modding of the UDA, instead, is always a safe operation.
If you don't know how to install, or how to use it, probably you don't need Nokia Cooker at all.

New RomPatcher+ V2.5
Bagi yang suka ngepatch-ngepatch hape, ini ada alat terbaru dari rompatcher. Gunanya masih tetap sama yaitu untuk memodifikasi dan mengkustomisasi hape dengan system penambahan patch. Untuk Patch-patch tetap harus di taruh di E:/rompatch.

Yang suka memodifikasi Firmware, ane sediain neh Bootscreen ma splash screen Floral dan butterfly by Fataqui. Seperti biasa masukkan ke rofs2 memakai NFE ato Nokia Editor Beta sama aja. ane saranin pake NFE, cs selain cepet unpack n repack, interfacenya juga udah gak ribet.

Tutorial Cara Download aplikasi dari OVI STORE Melalui Komputer (PC, Laptop, Notebook, etc)
Titorial ini sudah lama ada tapi daripada jarang posting masalah tutorial jadi saya mengangkat kembali cara download dan menginstal aplikasi, permainan dll dari Ovi Store melalui Komputer karena Ovi Store jika diakses melalui PC, hanya memberikan informasi konten yang ingin di download tanpa mendownloadnya langsung dari PC.Tutorial ini merupakan pembaharuan dari tutorial terdahulu yang pernah saya posting sebelumnya dengan memberikan sedikit lebih detil cara-cara agar para pembaca yang budiman mudah memahaminya :D
Oke langsung saja masuk ke tutorialnya,
1. buka Ovi Store kemudian Pilih aplikasi atau permainan yang ingin didownload. disini saya contohkan download game Chess Lite.
2. Jika sudah, klik send to friend atau kirim ke teman
3. Nah, gambar dibawah ini pada alamat website diatas yang terakhir bertulisan "send-to-friend", kata tersebut ganti dengan tulisan "download" kemudian enter. Secara otomatis akan ada confirmasi penyimpanan kemudian save seperti biasa.
4. File yang telah didownload biasanya berakhiran atau berekstensi "sis.dm", contoh chesslite.sis.dm. hilangkan saja kata "dm" pada hasil download tadi agar berekstensi aplikasi. contoh "chesslite.sis.dm" menjadi "chesslite.sis"
5. Eits, belum sampai disitu, file yang baru kita download tadi belum bisa diinstal kedalam Hp walaupun sudah berekstensi sis( karena kita download secara ilegal :D ). Agar Hp bisa menginstal aplikasi secara lancar maka kita memerlukan aplikasi yang bernama HEX Editor. HEX Editorbisa di donload disini
6. Jika sudah mendownload HEX Editor, langsung saja jalankan programnya melalui komputer (ya iyalah......)
7. Jika sudah, tampilan utamanya seperti ini.
8. Klik File-open, untuk membuka aplikasi yang akan di edit. Setelah itu akan muncul tampilan seperti dibawah.
9. Amati angka dan huruf pada baris dan kolom paling kiri atas terdapat angka "2D". Setiap aplikasi tidak selalu sama dengan awalan "2D" dan itu tidak masalah. yang perlu kita amati benar disini adalah angka "7A". Ingat setiap aplikasi pasti mempunyai angka "7A". Jadi inti dari tahap ini adalah kita akan menghapus sebagian angka-angka tersebut sampai sebelum angka "7A". Lihat gambar dibawah.
Lakukan blok dari "2D" sampai angka sebelum "7A" dengan cara tekan tombol SHIFT kemudian arah. Ingat angka "7A" jangan sampai diikutkan blok. tujuan kita memblok angkat-angka tersebut adalah untuk menghapus angka yang sudah kita blok tadi.
10. Jika sudah terblok, klik edit-block delete.
11. Maka tampilannya akan seperti ini.
Ingat sekali lagi, angka "7A" harus berada pada baris dan kolom paling kanan atas.
12. Save as kemudian ketikkan nama yang ingin dikehendaki diikuti dengan extensi SIS. contoh, chesslite.sis
Sudah jadi deh aplikasi siap diinstal. kelebihan memakai tutorial seperti ini adalah hampir semua aplikasi dapat diinstal pada hape yang belum diHACK.
HEX EDITOR
